Cari Banner is the Building Operations Manager for EngineWorks at Sterling Commercial Management Group (SterlingCMG), where she oversees daily operations at the Class A research and innovation building on the Montana State University Innovation Campus. Cari manages tenant relations, vendor coordination, preventative maintenance, and building systems, keeping a complex property running for the companies and research teams inside it. Her strength is organization. She builds the protocols, reporting, and daily procedures that keep operations consistent and predictable for owners and tenants alike.
Before joining SterlingCMG, Cari spent nearly 15 years with a North Carolina firm specializing in medical, mixed-use, and general office development. She started as a temporary administrative hire and worked her way up to property manager, overseeing tenant relations, staffing, vendor contracts, and fire and safety compliance across 12 buildings. She was the sole point of contact for tenant matters during business hours and after them, and she developed the operating forms and reporting systems the firm ran on.
Outside of work, Cari spends her time with her husband, two boys, and two dogs, cheering on the Green Bay Packers she was born and raised to love, practicing yoga, and writing.
