Where Do WeWork in Montana?

Coworking in Montana: where do we work when WeWork isn’t an option?

Coworking options like WeWork are scarce in the inland northwest, with Montana in the heart of that coworking desert. In fact, there are no WeWork affiliate locations in Montana…or Idaho, or Wyoming, or either of the Dakotas. Regus has an Bozeman location, but you’ll have to spend some time on a waitlist before you can secure a spot.

Across Montana, getting a monthly, weekly, or daily desk can be a challenge, especially as many remote workers have transitioned to Montana. What’s more, hot-desking and open seating options carry a new level of risk as the pandemic drags on as Montana struggles to get the vaccination rate up. As a result of COVID concerns, many coworking seekers specifically request private offices.

The Vision

The vision for Adaptiv Work.Space was conceived before the global pandemic, by just a few months. Build out on the first Adaptiv space in Missoula started later in 2020. Almost just as soon as the first floor came to market with private suites, the spaces were leased up by a mix of estheticians, construction companies, entrepreneurs, and remote workers. The space featured a rentable conference room, a small waiting area, and a kitchenette.

Phase one and two are located in the same building. It’s located between the central business district and the city’s main commercial corridors. Phase two was another set of private office suites with access to conference rooms, a kitchen, a waiting area, and a shower. This phase filled more quickly than the first, though each space organically developed its own character.

Phase one morphed into a quiet and zen space of mostly esthetics and holistic medicine providers, including a massage therapist and reiki provider. Other tenants with a need for an especially quiet space gravitated towards this option. Phase two tenants were largely professional service providers with a need for private spaces, well-wired conference spaces, and 24/7 access to the building.

The Future

Like most coworking spaces in Montana, Adaptiv quickly filled. A third floor is under construction. There are additional locations under consideration for Montana. So while you may not be able to find a WeWork or Regus location readily available, you can sign up for updates on Adaptiv Work.Space locations in the state. We can’t wait to work with you!
