The new year brings a leadership announcement for Sterling Commercial Real Estate Advisors as Kara Hogan, CCIM, has been named Managing Broker of our Bozeman office.
Kara joined SterlingCRE Advisors in 2021 as a Transaction Manager, where she played a central role in preparing marketing materials, coordinating transaction documentation, and standardizing internal processes that support efficient deal execution. Her early tenure was defined by precision and an ability to manage complex timelines. These capabilities quickly expanded her role.
She later grew into an advisory capacity, working directly with business owners and property owners on leasing strategy, tenant placement, and space selection across office, industrial, retail and specialty assets.
Over the past 18 months, Kara served as Development Coordinator with Sterling Commercial Investment Group, supporting multiple investment and development initiatives, including an industrial park and a housing subdivision in Missoula’s Wye area. That experience further strengthened her understanding of project feasibility, capital considerations, and cross-disciplinary coordination.
Kara formerly served as Chair of the Board for Families First, reflecting her ongoing commitment to community-focused leadership alongside her professional responsibilities.
A fifth-generation Montanan, Kara brings deep statewide relationships and a strong understanding of Montana’s commercial real estate markets. Her background in commercial lending, project coordination, and investor relations enables her to anticipate challenges and keep transactions moving efficiently.
In her role as Managing Broker, Kara will oversee brokerage operations in Bozeman while advising property owners, users, and investors throughout the Gallatin Valley.
“In a fast-moving market like Bozeman, clients need accurate market data and guidance they can trust,” Hogan said. “That’s what we deliver at SterlingCRE Advisors.”
