A native of Missoula, Joe brings a personal understanding of the local market, its trends, and its unique opportunities to the Sterling Team. He graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and spent time honing his knowledge of the financial aspects of businesses and nonprofits. After a period of career exploration, Joe transitioned into property management and successfully led the quick lease-up effort of the Missoula Lofts, a new 146-unit townhouse development, and navigated the sale of that property in 2024.

In his current role, Joe leverages his accounting background and leasing experience to provide clients with detailed financial analysis and strategic insights that enable clients to make well informed leasing decisions. His ability to interpret financial statements and market data allows him to identify value-driven opportunities for both landlords and tenants, ensuring they achieve their goals in commercial leasing transactions. This unique skill set, combined with his commitment to client success and passion for building strong client relationships, makes him a valuable advisor to work alongside.

As a faithful UM alumni, Joe passionately supports the Grizzlies on the field at Washington-Grizzly or on the court within the Adam’s Center. He also volunteers frequently with students from schools throughout the city, and cares deeply for the future and prosperity of his community both locally and across Western Montana.
