A native of Missoula, Joe brings a personal understanding of the local market, its trends, and its unique opportunities to the Sterling Team. He graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and spent time honing his knowledge of the financial aspects of businesses and nonprofits. After a period of career exploration, Joe transitioned into property management and successfully led the quick lease-up effort of the Missoula Lofts, a 146-unit townhouse development, and navigated the sale of that property in 2024.

Joe recently worked as a Leasing Specialist with SterlingCRE Advisors, helping landlords and tenants work through commercial transactions. That experience gave him a clear view of both sides: what tenants need from a space and what owners need from a manager. At SterlingCMG, he oversees tenant relations, financial operations, and facility performance across the commercial portfolio. His accounting background grounds his approach in financial discipline: owners get accurate reporting and a clear picture of where their building stands.

As a faithful UM alumnus, Joe passionately supports the Grizzlies on the field at Washington-Grizzly or on the court within the Adam’s Center. He also volunteers frequently with students from schools throughout the city, and cares deeply for the future and prosperity of his community both locally and across Western Montana.
